Calsequestrin is a high-capacity, moderate affinity, calcium-binding protein and thus acts as an internal calcium store in muscle. The release of calcium bound to calsequestrin through a calcium release channel triggers muscle contraction. Binds 40 to 50 moles of calcium. Also binds laminin. SWISS: P31415 Gene ID: 844 肌钙集蛋白，隐钙素，收钙素，是肌浆网上调控钙储存的主要结合蛋白。CASQ与内质网钙结合蛋白肌钙网蛋白具有同源性（calreticulin）。CASQ1主要在快收缩骨骼肌表达，CASQ2主要在在慢收缩骨骼肌和心肌表达。 |
