Ligand for the T-cell-specific cell surface receptor ICOS. Acts as a costimulatory signal for T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion; induces also B-cell proliferation and differentiation into plasma cells. Could play an important role in mediating local tissue responses to inflammatory conditions, as well as in modulating the secondary immune response by co-stimulating memory T-cell function. SWISS: O75144 Gene ID: 23308 B7协同刺激分子及其相应受体结合所产生的信号在调节T细胞活化及效应性细胞因子分泌中起重要作用，具有负性调节作用的协同刺激分子对免疫应答的适度进行、防止自身免疫疾病的发生具有重要作用。 B7H2可协同刺激CD14 + 细胞增殖，并分泌IL-4、IL-5、IFN-β、TNF-α、GM-CSF和IL-10等细胞因子，但不能协同刺激T细胞上调IL-2的分泌。 |
