Ubiquitin-like protein which plays a key role in the innate immune response to viral infection either via its conjugation to a target protein (ISGylation) or via its action as a free or unconjugated protein. Hela (H) cells were treated with or without IFN (1000 U/mL) for 24 h, 25 μg total protein per lane of cell lysates (see on figure) probed with ISG15 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-62839R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
