NGX6 (nasopharyngeal carcinoma/NPC associated gene 6) may function as a regulator of the EGFR pathway. Probable tumor suppressor which may function in cell growth, proliferation and adhesion. [SUBUNIT] Isoform 2 (via its cytoplasmic part) interacts with EZR. [SUBCELLULAR LOCATION] Isoform 2: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein (Probable). Cytoplasm (Probable). Nucleus (Probable). Mitochondrion. Endoplasmic reticulum. Belongs to the NGX6 family. The down-regulation of C9orf127 may be closely associated with tumorigenesis and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma. However, it may not contribute to the development and progression of gastric carcinoma. Function: May function as a regulator of the EGFR pathway. Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer ( 0.01M, pH 6.0 ), Boiling bathing for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 30min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum,C-0005) at 37℃ for 20 min;
