Granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) is a cytokine initially characterized by its ability to induce colonies of granulocytes and macrophages from myeloid progenitor cells. It is produced in endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts and T lymphocytes. GM-CSF stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes. This recombinant human GM-CSF is produced by human cells. (Tag free) Biological activity: The activity was measured by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of human TF-1 cells (human erythroleukemic indicator cell line). Reconstitution: Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the protein in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin. |
