产品介绍 | S-腺苷-L-甲硫氨酸依赖的甲基转移酶,具有使RNA和蛋白质甲基化的能力。通过催化前核糖体RNA中核糖部分的位点特异性2'-羟基甲基化参与前rRNA加工。位点特异性由与底物碱基配对的引导RNA提供。甲基化发生在与引导RNA碱基配对的序列的特征距离处。可能催化C/D-RNP复合物中U6-snRNAs的2'-O-甲基化。U6-snRNA 2'-O-甲基化是mRNA剪接保真度所必需的。还通过介导组蛋白H2A(H2AQ104me)的“Gln-105”甲基化而充当蛋白质甲基转移酶,这是一种损害FACT复合物结合的修饰,并特异性存在于35S核糖体DNA位点。 |
